Dr. Lisa's Lego Mania
I have been building and playing with Legos for about ten years now and have amassed a collection of Legos any child would be proud of. I find building the models (especially Technic) designed by Lego relazing and fulfilling. I tell people Lego building maintains my sanity. Perhaps, it's a control thing (manipulating the building elements puts me in control).
One of the greatest joys of building with Legos has been displaying them in our local science center [link]. For a couple years, every Christmas, I've displayed a variety of my models. During the spring of 2005, Dr. Lisa's Lego Mania was a primary exhibit for the center. In January we had "Wheels and Cars," in February we had "Flights of Fancy," in March, "Heroes, Fantasy and Real," and in April we had... Unfortunately, the new location for the science center doesn't provide space for displays of Legos.
A whole room of my house (in fact, the "master" bedroom) is devoted to Legos.
